11 Common Misconceptions About Branding

“A product can be quickly outdated, but a successful brand is timeless.”

What makes a successful business? The fastest answer would be – the product or service you offer!

Well, not quite right…

While the product or service is a crucial key for a business to run, but there is something more to it. You can be the best consultant or service provider the world ever saw and no one would come knocking at your door. The answer to that problem is branding! The way people perceive your business can often be more important than the things you offer! Despite that, not a lot of people see that. In this article, I will tell you the most common misconceptions about branding you need to know.

We don’t need to be special, Let’s fit everyone:
Every business needs a USP to stand out. If your business doesn’t have any USP, how you going to decide the tone and things while marketing your business. Let me make it more simple for you, When we see a logo of Mcdonald’s the very first thing comes in our mind is “Burgers”. You know why? Because that’s their USP, that makes them stand out from other fast-food chains. So, before marketing your business, you need to figure out what’s your or your business’s USP.

Branding is just a name and logo:
Logo, the name of your business is a part of your branding, but branding is much more than a name or a logo. Branding is all about the feelings, features, and emotions associated with your company. Let’s take the example of the “Liverpool Football Club”. We all are very well aware of LFC, the fans of LFC have an emotional attachment with it, that’s made the Liverpool Football club so popular among all the football fan across the world.

Customers only care about product / service:
Actually, customers care a lot about choosing a brand that appeals to them and are able to connect with. A stuntman or a fan of extreme sports are more likely to pick a Red Bull energy drink over, for example, a Monster. That’s because Red Bull promotes themselves among these groups of people. Or, imagine walking into a drugstore looking for toothpaste. Which one are you more likely to pick? The one you saw an advertisement of (it showed footage of smiling people with perfectly white teeth) or some other random paste you’ve never heard about.

Well, obviously the first one! According to Malcolm Gladwell: “Buyers make most decisions by relying on their two-second first impressions based on stored memories, images and feelings” (Gladwell, The Power of Thinking Without Thinking) – that means, an advertisement you saw some time ago is now embedded in your brain and will impact your choices! No matter how good the other toothpaste is, or how bad the first one might be, you will most likely choose the one you are familiar with. Read more…

Obi-Wan Kenobi TV Series Might Only Have 4 Episodes

Source: Obi-Wan Kenobi TV Series Might Only Have 4 Episodes

Awaiting edits to the plot of Disney+’s new TV series Obi-Wan Kenobi casting Ewan McGregor as the leading actor might get only 4 episodes that were initially expected to have 6.

The TV show Obi-Wan Kenobi by Lucasfilm is reportedly getting apparent alterations, and that is the decreasing the counts of its episodes. Theories on the upcoming TV series casting the most anticipated Jedi Master is being spread throughout years, however, Lucasfilm eventually verified in 2019 that the show is coming for real. The TV series was officially introduced at D23 along with the declaration that Ewan McGregor would be the actor to portray as Obi-Wan. He is again showing up in the upcoming Disney+ shows, along with The Mandalorian. Deborah Chow is directing the new series with initially having a total of six episodes.

At the time, Lucasfilm introduced the news regarding the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, also stated that most of the script was completed, and filming will start in 2020. The Disney+ show might release in 2021 launch on. Bu t, the latest depressing rumors regarding Obi-Wan Kenobi’s production have driven out to be right. When Lucasfilm should have fully dedicated to the production Obi-Wan Kenobi TV show, the studio has left the Obi-Wan Kenobi show suspended by reason of worry about the show’s plot. This unclear holdup would not only modify the show’s plot but also decrease the counts of episodes initially decided.

Following the recent news regarding Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series is getting suspended for an indefinite period, THR and informational offered further information regarding what they got to know about the TV series sudden breakdown. As per their resources, the new planned storyline will only introduce a total of 4 episodes, which were supposedly six. Despite the fact that the production is now on hold and only four episodes will be cast, the actor Ewan McGregor still holding his place as well as Chow is also staying as the director of the show, however, a new script team is getting recruited.

The decreased number of the show’s episodes just explains the up and down of the Lucasfilm effort to put McGregor back on his foot. At one point, he was thought to play as Obi-Wan as the popular Jedi master in the Obi-Wan film, and many people wished to get a complete trilogy for the Obi-Wan movie. When some of the audience were depressed by the sad news about Obi-Wan is not coming back to the big screen, the report of Obi-Wan Kenobi is releasing on Disney+ thrilled them. When they heard the show is releasing in the form of a six-episode series as well as each episode of one hour, they become happy. Now the episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi have changed to 4 as well as one episode might last only for 30 minutes rather than being an hour-long episode if the show applies the same directions as The Mandalorian.

Still, now it is too early to believe this news of cutting down 2 episodes from the show is a wise decision or the downfall of the studio. The Obi-Wan fans would never be happy with this news since they might need to wait a bit longer for the TV show release, and they may likely strain out their interest from the series entirely.

Serious Mass for Some Serious Body Builders

Mutant Masshad been my favourite choice of weight gainer for a while now. However, I came across Optimum Nutrition’s Serious Mass on offer online I decided to close my eyes and give it a go. Well, I closed my eyes after some serious research.

Serious Mass is a committed weight gainer which is literally flowing with calories. It packs in an enormous 1,250 calories per serving (more than any other weight gainer on the market) making it a perfect match for weight gainers looking to add some serious muscle. This is not your average protein shake, but bursting at the seams with calories!

Mixed with milk, you’re going to be taking in at least 1500 calories per glass. Blender seemed better to use than a shaker. It took me too long to get it into a consumable state and was a big piece of work and still, I could never seem toget past those little chunks.

Everyone can bare the taste of serious mass it’s not too bad. It’s sweet and rich, but this is ok for the course with a high calorie weight gainer, so no real complaints here. I decided to go with the chocolate flavor, and mixed with milk; it’s definitely not as bad as other people would say it would be but exceeded my expectations.

Not everything is good as it seems but there are some negatives as well.If you’re anything like me, a couple of scoops serving of Serious Mass will cause a lot of bloating. So instead of scooping thrice, I would scoop only once. But doing that lessens the protein intake so for added protein, I mixed in some homemade whey. When you first start out with this drink, it may feel like how someone feels when they are lactose intolerant – constant gas and theexploding

However all this, compared to a vega protein smoothie, would always come back to Serious Masseven if that means to have explosive on the throne, every morning.

I say this because the number reason being that of the taste factor. Vege protein smoothie is plant based so I am anyway used to my flavored drinks so these smoothies didn’t go down well with me. Of course, if you were a vegan like any other then you wouldn’t really mind that taste. But if someone put a gun to head and asked me to choose which flavors, I would want this to come in chocolate – to say the least. Besides, the protein requirement on each serving is hardly anything to my expectations.

Considering the nutritional summary of Serious Mass –it is very valuable compared to all others in the market.
